Rio Grande Weaving | Home Page

I've been raising Navajo-Churro sheep, carding and spinning their wool, and weaving Rio Grande Blankets on the banks of the Rio Grande near Espanola, New Mexico for nineteen years. I do all the processing of the fiber myself, from shearing the sheep, through carding and spinning to weaving and finishing. I also do my own dyeing, but since my flock has so many great colors already I like to use mostly natural colors. The designs are all my own.

I sell custom made Rio Grande blankets, Navajo-Churro Sheep, and raw fleece in many colors.

Select here or click on the menu items on the left to look at some blankets and to find out how to get your own Rio Grande Blanket.

Select here to see some sheep pictures and see where the wool for the blankets came from and find out more about Navajo-Churro sheep.

If you really like what you see here, and would like to give someone a hint about what you want for Christmas or your birthday, print out a few of my brochures and leave them lying around the house.
